Ludlow Reflexology / Reflexology in Ludlow

What can I expect from treatment?

Ludlow reflexology appointments are for 40 minutes and involves removing footwear and lying on a couch or reclining chair. Your practitioner will discuss your health and lifestyle and will apply specific reflex techniques to your feet to ease your symptoms. General ailments are considered, as all body systems are potentially assisted by foot massage, but primary healthcare professionals refer people more and more frequently to reflexologists for infertility and pregnancy issues.

Some people feel they have sensitive feet, or are even ticklish, but treatment is firm and sure and the release of tension uplifts an individual's mood to promote good health. We cover thousands of miles walking and working through our lifetimes - what better way to care for your feet than to sit back and take the weight off? Reflexology in Ludlow is a speciality of Samuel Jones' services. He has strong testimonials for client satisfaction and invites you in for a consultation and reflexology treatment at his Ludlow clinic.

Treatment Costs:  £50

Consultation & treatment times vary but are usually between 30-45 minutes. This allows time, after your treatment before the next patient arrives, for your practitioner to complete any note taking, cleaning and room aeration.

Origins of reflexology - a brief history

Reflexology refers to a technique of foot and lower leg massage developed in China over 5000 years ago. It was later used in Egypt and is depicted in tomb art dating from around 2000BC. During the 19th century Zone therapy was developed and explored the ancient concept that the body's organs, membranes and bones corresponded to areas on the feet which can be remotely manipulated to have an effect upon general health. It is now respected and widely used in modern clinics today.
